Wenn im Menuesystem externe Links (beginnend mit http://) eingetragen werden, hängt das Tool zuvor dem BASE-ROOT des Tools dran, womit der Link komplett fehlerhaft ist. Ausserdem wird je nach Usereinstellung dann noch an den link die Session-ID (SID) gehängt.

Der graphische Spam-Schutz im Gästebuch reicht nicht immer aus, es kommen gelegentlich Spammer / Spam-Botsdurch. Um das weiter einzuschränken, wurden folgende zusätzliche Sicherheitsfeatures eingebaut:



 * Die IP des neuen Gästebucheintrages darf nicht identisch sein mit einer der letzten drei Gästebucheinträge. Damit wird zumindestens das x-fache Eintragen von Spam-Messages reduziert.



 * Es wurde eine Datei spam-words.txt ergänzt. Sofern Absendername, eMail, Website, Wohnort und / oder Eintrag eines der dort enthaltenen begriffe beinhaltet, wird der Eintrag nicht vorgenommen. (In einer späteren Version des CCDB wird diese Liste in die Datenbank übertragen, damit dort einfacher und schneller die Spam-Words gepflegt werden können
